Our first Christmas!

December has been very busy here at Y Fferm Fach. Amanda held a group meeting with local spinners, weavers and felters to discuss how best to use our 2024 fleeces. The group of local crafters enjoyed coffee and cake and spent time meeting our herd. Please call Amanda on 07737588007 if you would like more information on how you can get involved.

Workshops are also being arranged with a wonderful local felter to bring classes to our mini farm. More details on classes will be available on our website and Facebook page.

With all the rain we have been experiencing throughout autumn and early winter, we decided to alter how we operated our experiences. Our experiences remained popular throughout December with lots of gift vouchers being sold as Christmas presents.

This brings me on to our first Christmas. We had a great time.

Early December we invited our wonderful neighbours around for some festive food and drink. We all had a wonderful time. I have said this many times, we are blessed with the best neighbours. 20 of our closest neighbours and a few others who have helped and support us also attended.

As we move forward we are in the process of planting fruit trees, putting up bird boxes, bat boxes and a new home for a lucky owl.

We, or rather I, have decided to reduce our blogs to seasons, rather than every month. If you would rather have a monthly blog, please let me know.

Finally, poo sales have been going very well. We currently have a waiting list, so to be added, please get in touch.

We would like to wish you all a happy New Year and hope all your own plans and dreams come true.
